Moroccan Inspired Seating...

Beautiful Bohemian seating area
Ultimate bohemian reading nook
Bohemian moroccan seating area
Kilim pillows, sheepskin throw and a corner seating area
Love the vinyl storage under the chairs

In the last post I featured conversation Pits, although beautiful they are rather large and probably not practical or financially possible in the normal home.

These Moroccan inspired seating areas above are a little more practical whilst a lot friendlier on the budget. A couple of Kilim pillows, a throw or two, maybe a small sheepskin, a worn teak or Jali table and you are on your way. Bohemian bliss!!

Bold Statement Tiles...

Hand Painted Kitchen tiles
Rustic Kitchen Tiles and Stone sink
Floor Tiles
Pretty Tiles
Hand Painted Tiles - Awesome DIY Project
I am on the prowl for some kitchen tile inspiration. When I brought my house last August I promised myself the first thing I would do was get rid of the horrendous peach flowery kitchen tiles (see image below). I honestly dont know what possessed the last owner to put these up.

I am on a bit of a small budget so tile paint may have to be a quick fix, whilst I dream and save for a beautiful Moroccan inspired kitchen.

Not even a million pretty Spice Jars will disguise these Tiles!

The Home of .... Stone Fox Bride..

Large open spaces with white walls, Beni Ourain rugs, Indian fabrics, Moroccan Pouffes, books organised by colour and yoga in the Living room, what is not to love about Stone Fox Bride's creator Molly Guy's apartment?

Wouldn't trust myself with a glass of red wine though :)

A couple of weeks ago my sister and I went to Brighton to visit the Biba and Beyond exhibition as recommended by the marvellous Kelly- Marie of Hareem of Peaocks. We had such an awesome time perusing the shops and cafes and I even found my dream shop full of moroccan goodies. One of the beautiful items i came across was a stunning Moroccan wool blanket with massive pom poms. I fell in love however I was on a strict budget, so left empty handed. Since then I have become obsessed....

There are a few different pom pom throw's available on the web, see picture's 4,5 6, or you could easily make your own, Picture 3. Aren't they cute?

I get they keys to my very first owned home today. I am so excited, I have lived in over 18 homes in my 31 years and I think it is about time I settled in one place for a while....

My first room to tackle is going to be the kitchen, peach floral tiles and 1980's cupboards are really not my thing... Im thinking Mexican or Moroccan tiles, shelves instead of upper cupboards and tile floors. So exciting.....

p.s I will be drawing the Lulu Organics give away this evening so make sure you have taken part... The winner will be announced on the Give away post and facebook later this evening
