Wow, I love Style Like U. The Closets series has returned with weekly updates and the new dailies  section.... awesome!!

This weeks installment of Closets is that of Mary Randolph Carter, previous fashion editor at Mademoiselle and Author of Interiors book  Never Stop to Think do I Have A Place for this. I personally love Mary's eclectic bohemian home. She has not been afraid to layer on the fabrics and textures, like the book title suggests she has just brought what she loves.... down with minimalism!

The Yoga retreat home of... Paul Manza

 I love Style like u. Mainly because the homes and people rarely share my aesthetic, but every now and then a house or mind set of a 'closet' study/subject totally resonates with me. This home and yoga retreat of Yoga teacher Paul Manza is one of those houses and this calm, thoughtful space and Paul's interview have come at a time when I needed them... 

I have to be honest recently I have been feeling a little uninspired for Moon to Moon. I have sat for hours planning posts that do not materialize into anything.... bloggers block maybe? usually it will be one image that will talk to me and I will be off at a million miles an hour searching for images but this hasn't happened for weeks... a car that has had to be scrapped, a change from working on a slower paced children's ward back to hectic 12 hours shifts in A&E (ED) and trying for a baby have all consumed my mind and I think I have forgotten to breathe and relax. I haven't done yoga for months :(

Worn and loved with an abundance of natural healing energy,  inspiring contemplation and reflection, that is what a home should be.

Relax. Breathe

I am so pleased with the lovely ladies at Style like u, this week. The featured style is of the Charming Tracy McCarty and her husband Stephen. It is so nice to see the home of someone I have been aware of on the blogging world for some time. Tracy's blog Prism of Threads and shop of the same name are both regular reads.  Their home is more fabulous than I imagined it would be. Rich colours and patterns, vintage mixed with modern, textiles from around the world.... Yey:)

I am pretty obsessed with Style like U. I just find it so enthralling listening to people talk about their clothes and homes, I am genuinely so interested in peoples lives and stories (I guess that is also why I love nursing). I can really relate to a number of the guests but others are just so different from me and it is those guys that I like listening to.

I have picked the home of  Tarajia Morrell ,owner of fab food blog the Lovage ,to share as it is just so elegant in a way that clumsy old me could never be. That dressing table top is so glam and I just love that beautiful vintage sparkly dress.  Make sure you check out the video found here.

I saw these pictures about a year ago (?) on style like u and have just re-stumbled upon them and thought I would share. On the main site is a video interview with the couple talking about their style and home in Topanga Canyon.

The house of Waris

I am kind of obsessed by this guy, not only has he been in a number of Wes Anderson films but he also designs jewellery, owns a tea shop and lives in a gorgeous apartment. What a dude :)
