What can I say but wow! What luxury! I love these bohemian style rooms all from Martyn Lawrence-Bullard design. I have a bit of an obsession with rich velvet sofas and vintage rugs at the moment and that top picture ticks both those boxes.

I am off to my parents in Snowdonia for my Birthday but will be back on Sunday to anounce the winner of the Bohemia Kilim bag Give away

Eclectic Sitting Rooms....

Eclectic sitting/ living room interior
Sitting room by Photographer David Prince
Library Sitting/ living Room with Moroccan pouffes and Persian rug, Via maison Boheme
Eclectic Moroccan style sitting Room with Kilim cushions and throws
Opulent and eclectic. Probably as close to my dream home as I think I have seen, but not enough books
I love the eclectic shabby-ness of these living / sitting rooms, perfect for lounging around with a good book.

I am a real hoarder. As long as I remember my parents have been big collectors, getting obsessed with a particular type of pottery or glassware and searching antiques shops for that next exiting find (I used to love going to weekend antique fairs, my sister and I would look at the pretty vintage jewellery pretending which pieces we were going to buy).

Unlike my parents I never buy anything of worth or value, but I am such a magpie for anything un-British looking. My dream home is a dusty, eclectic treasure chest of rare findings from all over the world that I would have found in an Indiana Jones/ Victorian explorer type way :)

Sadly my boyfriend is more of a minimalist  type of dude.

Opulent Bohemian Gardens

Big or small, there is no excuse to have a weed infested garden, paint the concrete blue, put some fern in a large terracotta pot and get some Moroccan tea-light holders, or storm lamps and you are on your way to a bohemian paradise.

I am in love with the top picture, those rust coloured cushions against the green is so stunning.

Velvet and lace

I always wonder, with these beautiful homes weather any men actually live in them? To me they look like the homes of single ladies, Dan 'allows' me a few ostrich feathers and hints of lace and velvet here and there but would never invite his mates round to watch the footie if our house was as delightful and eclectic as this one. A shame as this is pretty much my idea of heaven.
