-18 degrees

Wow, it is snowing therefore freezing here in the UK. Where my parents live it is -18 degrees C!  So today my inspiration is the humble fireplace, so simple yet so very necessary.

Now I don't even know who this Emily Henderson person is or what programme Design Star was but wow this girl has style!  Aren't these great feeling rooms? Lovely natural light and little accents of colour, yum!

Bohemian kitchens

I have been really uninspired recently. I don't know if it is the cold damp weather making me sleepy, or that I have been working full time in the hospital as well as having a ton of university work to do, and a part time job, phew. My full time work has come to an end until February, so I can at last rejoin the world, and find time to myself.

Starting with cooking, long soaks in the bath, drinks with friends and blogging.

Aren't these bathrooms great?  I am so impressed with them. I love the tiny round windows in the top one and the waterfall in the second. I know it sounds silly but looking at them I keep thinking about the damage you could do falling over in one of these baths. Ouch!

Wooden Homes pt.2

Aren’t these natural wooden homes gorgeous?

I spend so much time dreaming about what I would like to buy to make my home 'better' ...... beautiful fabrics, Moroccan rugs, a ceramic lamps, new curtains… the list goes on....but every now and then I come across a picture of a handmade wooden home, surrounded by trees, made with passion and minimal and I am reminded to just slow down and appreciate the finer things.

Life could be so much more simple, so less stressful, if I just calmed down and was surrounded by nature , and lived a life where there were no mobile phones or social media  and I didn't concern myself with Interiors blogs (just Moon to Moon of course)
