Moon Doors

Me in a Moon Door in a Beijing Taosist Garden :)
Flikr

Whilst in Beijing a couple of years ago I went to a beautiful Taoist temple and park, and found the most beautiful "moon door". It was so beautiful and really gave the place a feeling of peace, I really want to build one in my own garden one day, especially if I get to wear the outfit in the top picture.

To read more about Taoist symbolism and moon doors read here

  8. Dear Violet... so glad I discovered your Blog tonight after another Blogger profiled your site. I had to share your site in a Post as well... you've done all the work of collecting some of the most fab Bohemian images that I also adore! My time online is often limited so I absolutely LIVE to discover Kindred Spirits that enjoy all of the beautiful things and images that I do... saves so much time... well, not really, as then I end up not being able to tear myself away and want to see it ALL in one sitting! *winks*
