For Bananenblatt
We heart it |

Okay, so we all dream. Dream about renovating a camper or a boat or maybe living in a self built home but for most of us it is sadly just that. So for those that actually do it I have the utmost respect. We have a VW camper but that came modified and if I am honest it needs a fair bit of TLC.
So this post is inspired by and for Bananenblatt one of my lovely blog friends who is actually restoring a motor home. So cool.
Edit. I forgot to mention, 'a girl from the north' blog, a new blog written by the lovely Moomin (awesome name) renovating a narrowboat. Inspired I spent hours looking at narrowboats and barges yesterday. sigh*

After 10 months of work and worry I have finally handed my dissertation in. I feel like a ton of weight has been lifted from my shoulders. Only 2 months until I am a qualified Nurse. Crickey!
Now its done I can post a bit more regularly too.

In preparation for a series of guest spots I have been plotting lately, I have been looking through my favourite blogs to get some beautiful interiors, and found a lot of fellow bloggers are as obsessed with jewellery as myself.
I hang it from every surface and often get told off for the little piles of rings and necklaces left on the mantle piece, kitchen table, or even the floor. I don't wear all of it but I think it looks so pretty and gives me great satisfaction.

I am not personally one for fluffy dice, but don't see a problem with a throw or two and maybe some pom pom brocade do you?
Who said a car was just to get from a to b? Pah!

Pamela Loves Brooklyn Home ...
I am in the deepest midst of essay writing so thought it was an appropriate time to share one of my favourite houses found in my interior quest.
It is the home of wonderful Jewellery designer Pamela love , photographed by The Selby. I love their eclectic vintage style. I would just love to spend an afternoon rummaging around.
Hope you all have a great weekend xxx

I have had a bit of a rough time recently, miserable winters, too much study and working 50+ hour weeks in the hospital has been getting me down a bit and i have been finding it hard to shake off the mean blues. No amount of shopping for jewellery or eating yummy food has done the trick.
Yet this morning I had a breakthrough, Before I had even opened my eyes I was aware of the birds singing happily in the garden and through a gap in the curtain a ray of sunshine was warming my face. Pure bliss. Everything seemed so much clearer and the weight of the last 5 months was lifted. These unexpected moments of natural clarity are so rare and precious aren't they?

I would like to thank the owners of 'simply me' and 'Bohemian Valhalla' for their spotlighting Moon to Moon. Both kindred spirits and beautiful blogs I urge you to check them out xx
P.p.s
It has come to my attention that in my shear laziness in the past I have been useless at referencing my sources. I have no excuses and I will aim to link from here on xx
