On the approach to Christmas the what would you like question is one that always stumps me. Well this year I know exactly what I want, I want this book, Woodstock handmade houses or I want one of the houses, either would be good.
p.s. Lizzy this post is a hint :)
Edit..... How weird I have just noticed the linkwithin link suggests i have posted about this book before and forgotten all about it.
I LOVE these homes!!! They are so natural looking...I built a Pole house in Northeastern Maine many years ago and I miss it terribly...I felt closer to nature in that home...Big mistake selling it...
ReplyDeleteFantastic post as always!! <3

I got this book a few months ago and absolutely love it! All the places are so amazing.
ReplyDeleteI would definitely want one of the houses! I'd prefer to live inside them than look them on a book! :)))
ReplyDeletemy goodness, these spaces are divine. in every sense of the word.
ReplyDeleteI'm blessed to live just a stone's throw from Woodstock - and to have dear friends who live in a "Woodstock Handmade House". It's always a joy to visit them.
ReplyDeleteno prob to post twice about it :D
ReplyDeletethey are really awesome!
Completely new to me! Fabulous concept and great name. Don't they look cosy and inviting? x
ReplyDeleteAfter seeing these decadently feral homes, living in my lil' pink shack is not so bad...staged decay is the bomb! Great post!

To live in a space that accepts the natural process of life and death in daily existance - without having to take a "vacation" to do so, is my idea of living! Sweep those leaves in! Great post. Peace.
ReplyDeleteI wish I could live in one of these.
ReplyDeleteWhere can I get that book? I also want to live on that house, it seems so cool there. So cozy and so pretty. Love the style of these houses.
ReplyDeleteHomes like these ignite the child within! These are beautiful, thanks for posting!
ReplyDeleteLove from Chicago,
Melissa
It's definitely worth posting about twice, such beautiful, natural shapes and the houses all look so warm and inviting. In love x

ReplyDeleteCoop designs do not have to be incredibly difficult, but you do not want to make them too easy either.

So glad everyone feel s the same. Sadly in the Uk these houses wouldn't really be practical as it gets so cold and wet. Although i am sure there must be a way around it xx
ReplyDeleteYeah, this book is pretty great. I bought it several years ago from salebooks.com, a US site. I'm not sure if they stock it anymore.
ReplyDeleteThey have the book at barnesandnoble.com, paperback, about $30.
ReplyDeleteCool book, cool website, one of my favs.
I post my favorite pics you post on pinterest, give you credit, of course.
Thanks for a great blog.
I love every single one of these, and I would really love to help make them and hopefully have one of my own as soon as possible someday...
