The Home of.... Erin Rivera Merriman

I am so pleased I came across this house tour on Pigments blog. I have been following the wonderful Erin on Instagram and have become a big fan of her inner beauty and outward talents. Erin is the maker behind BearHead factory and also behind the marvelous Active Culture Family, a wonderful collective of makers and collaborators including Bear Head factory, Penbraca, Ghost Dancer, Three Arrows leather and Daughter of The Sun.

I wasn't surprised to see that her home in San Diego was as stunning as her creative work. I am totally smitten with the top image of her sitting room, not to mention that awesome cardigan and jewellery collection:)

I thought I would share some of my current favorite bohemian and natural nurseries from the Web. It is funny I thought for once I would try and choose a theme and stick to it for our nursery but there is so much beautiful stuff out there, and so many thrifty bargains that ours is going to look just as much of an eclectic jumble as the rest of the house!

you know when you find a picture on pinterest or tumblr or in a magazine etc.. and you know you would just love to see more of a home or a person? Well I had that with Monki Spokeswoman Nor Toma when I saw the picture below from Flair magazine over a year ago.

Luckily for me, Freunde von Freunden's latest wonderful home tour features a more  in depth  peek around her beautiful Gothenburg Apartment. Personally I am not a taxidermy fan, but the rest of the place is wonderful isn't it?

I love this Williamsburg apartment owned by Fashion designer Samantha Pleet. That stunning Togo sofa and the heavy reclaimed wood shelves are so beautiful. With all those beautiful plants it's easy to forget this is a city apartment.

I have collated these images from across many websites so the individual links to various interviews and house tours are below the image. I actually really like that, that all the images are from different seasons, you can see how one little apartment changes over time. The move from spring time bedding to a thick Moroccan Red Handira in the cooler months

I am not a blogger that usually promotes larger corporations but eBay is genuinely one of my all time favorite sites. 80% of my baby's nursery and clothes have been brought from eBay and my own wardrobe is full of eBay bargains. So when eBay asked if I would like to be part of their UK launch of Collections I jumped at the chance. I have 12 collections which are constantly changing and being updated... because things sell fast!!

The above collection is just a few items from my collection Bohemian Bedroom. Although the bedspread is bright the other elements are neutral and calming. This collection was inspired by images from the book 'Gypsy' by Sibella Court.
