Botanical Wall Paper...

Hand Painted Indian Wall Paper

My parents are big wallpaper enthusiasts. They have huge crazy patterned walls with flowers and birds and wonderful matching paintwork.... it is such a massive contrast to the white walls in my little house. Although I love the idea of beautiful swirling patterns I am afraid I am not brave enough!

What do you think?

  1. Given the right patterns and right accessories, I could live with wallpaper. In fact, I have in other homes. THIS one doesn't have smooth enough walls to paper, however...

I'm not a big fan of the blue fern design, but I like several of the others!

  2. I think the use of colour and patters are truly beautiful, they give the rooms characters and feelings. However I also think it takes a lot of courage to design spaces like this, none the less it is very beautiful.

  4. I think you have totally read my mind!! This past week I decided that I want to wall paper the space outside of our main floor bathroom. I went looking at wall paper and several of these are on my wallpaper board! Turns out they are all super pricey so I'm gonna do a mural instead. Hopefully, it'll work out. I love the mixed hand painted Indian papers.
