Revisited: The Home of Erin Wasson...

The Eclectic Home of.... Model Erin Wasson
Dream Catcher from Electric Love co

This is the second time I have shared images of model Erin Wasson's home. This time the images are show a lot more of a lived in and a lot less styled home. Personally i think it looks better this way! I have also included a few more shots of Erin's fabulous clothes.... the bead-work on that dressing gown is beautiful isn't it?

The great thing about this home is that, despite her probably over-flowing bank balance, Erin's home shows her eclectic character and personality. She has clearly chosen pieces she loves rather than pieces that match.

Shop: Zinnia Folk Arts

Milagro Heart From online Mexican Boutique Zinnia Folk Arts

Zinnia Folk Arts, founded in 2008, is a small Mexican folk art shop located in Minneapolis, Minnesota that also has a very well stocked online store. Anne fell in love with Mexico and Mexican folk art in high school when she studied Spanish for the summer in Toluca, Mexico. On that first trip, Anne returned to the United States with a tree of life from Puebla, several baskets, silver jewelry from Taxco and what was to become a life long love for all things Mexican. As a collector of Mexican folk art for over 25 years, researching and seeking the finest folk artists and Mexican crafts of a variety of styles in the many small towns of Mexico, Anne has developed an eye for well-made traditional and unusual contemporary Mexican crafts. Anne has a MA in Arts Administration and was a Research Assistant at the Science Museum of Minnesota focusing on the Donald & Dorothy Cordry collection of Mexican Folk Art. To bring you the variety & quality of folk art for which we are known, she visits different regions of the country and purchases directly from artisans, visiting them in their homes or studios all over Mexico. She also shops in local mercados and a few Mexico-based folk art dealers to bring you interesting and unique pieces.

Carved and Painted Black Bull, San Martin Tilcajete From Zinnia Folk Arts

My personal favorite item is the Carved and Painted black bull, he would look so great in my living room , I also have a little obsession growing with the Milagro Hearts! Anne also has a great selection of Mexican nativity scenes that are perfect for Christmas...

Current Obsession: Banners from Secret Holiday Co

You may recognize the 'Be Kind' banner from Sundays House Tour of Rebecca Williams' bohemian  abode.... There was plenty to love about the tour and these banners really caught my eye. I would love one for Alex's room!

These vintage style affirmation banners are hand made by Ashley Brown Durand of Secret Holiday Co. About her work Ashley Says

"I have a soft spot for all things old and historic, especially when it comes to textiles and the handcrafts of women from the late 1800's and early 1900's. When I'm not creating something new, I'm probably rummaging through thrift shops, antique stores, and flea markets, and pouring over books about historic quilts or the Woman's Suffrage Movement. Though I love nature and being outside, I would much prefer to visit a history museum than go for a hike.

I learned to quilt at a young age, a labor of love that has been passed down by the women in my family for generations. I believe each piece I create is an extension of the first quilt my mother taught me to stitch, and the first that my mother's mother taught her to stitch and so on."

The Home of.... Rebecca Williams..

The home of Rebecca Williams. Bohemian, Eclectic and laid back
Notice the awesome leather bag identical to the one in Mays Giveaway here

I love that tall ceramic pot on the left hiding below the cuboard
I love those Cowrie Shell mirrors
1972 Volkswagen

There is just so much for me to love in this beautiful Australian home owned by Rebecca Williams from Sugar Shack co and Naughty Shorts. I love the laid back vintage feel, there are no matching elements, but it all just works. Rebecca is as you can imagine a stylist and although the home is obviously styled for the photo shoot,  the messy fridge magnets, trailing plants and washing-up mean it actually looks lived in, and very inviting.
