My dream dining Room

Okay so this is probably 'the one' for me. I don't think a dining room could ever wow me as much as this one. It has everything I have ever envisaged in my mind for my dream room.

This beautiful sitting room is just a part of a selection of photos of Wilberts home in Antwerp. A home he rented the top flat in as a student, helped the owners renovate it into a house, and then brought himself years later. My bedside mess

How other people live is so interesting isn't it? When you go to mates and families houses they have usually made a bit of effort to tidy and present the parts of the house in a way they would like you to see them. The bedside table however is not generally an area you would invite guest to look at. Generally the place you will open you eyes too in the morning, does your bedside help inspire you and welcome you to a new day or is it a dusty table with rubbish and old cups? Mine is usually a mixture of the two..

Books, used cups, tumble stones and jewellery are my bedside staples... and more recently a bunch of flowers.. I am finding the flowers help improve my mood when getting up at 6am for a 12 hour shift(see bottom photo)

Isn't his place wonderful? Not only is it stunning but this earthship is made from natural and recycled materials such as glass bottles.

There are a few earthships popping up,This one, is the Pheonix Earthship near Taos and not only is this place available for nightly rentals but is also for sale for a meager $1,500,000..... Sadly way out of my price range but with a jungle kitchen, indoor pond and generally just covered with plants this place is my dream home so maybe I should just get saving!!

The Victorian passion for collecting, categorizing and arranging really interests me and it seems everyone  has their 'thing'. My current thing is Prisms and crystals. They are just so darn pretty, and teamed up with candles and houseplants have added a sense of relaxation to my cluttered little home :)

Danielle from Beyond Marrakesh really has the eye for beautiful interiors. Not only does she run the beautiful Beyond Marrakesh boutique shop but the also has the most stunning Guesthouse Dar Zohra, situated in Marrakesh itself.

I have a beautiful Handira. Moroccan Wedding blanket from Beyond Marrakesh and it is one of my prized possessions, doubling up as a cozy blanket on cold British evening and a rug on warmer days. I urge you to visit the shop but get a tissue to catch the drool!!
