Ceiling to Floor books ....

Bookshelves bursting at the seams and a Virginia Wolf portrait

Books to the ceiling and wooden ladder
Overdoor books

Bohemian interior: Book shelves and Suzani throw
Bookshelves and couch

Beautiful home library, ceiling to floor bookshelves
Floor to ceiling book shelves, a big comfy chair a cup of tea and a good book.... Heaven!!

I am currently making my way through a pile of books that I brought whilst at university and now I have finished studying, have actually got time to read... there are no anatomy or theory books amongst them...

I have just started Lolita, what are you currently reading? Any recommendations?

I am almost finished reading Walking in the Sacred Manner. It's about plains Native American medicine women. It's fascinating--I bet you would like it!

LOVE them. I would still prefer books > kindle/nook. this is a dream of mine to have my own small library at home!

does an audio book count? I like to sew and listen. At present I have Middlemarch in the machine while I'm working on a jubilee project.

I desperately need shelves like these, my books are in stacks all over the place.
Speaking of Virginia Woolf I just read The Voyage Out.

I've done the over the door book shelf thing before when I had shelves that went all the way around the room. I've only got a small one over the front door now, but I'll be doing over two doors in the 'sewing- books- perfume making' room soon!

Love the bottom two... the one up from the bottom one reminds me of a used bookstore in town that's in an old train car!

These rooms are my goal for my home someday. I currently have one full wall, and am working on more. I haven't had money to purchase as many books as I used to, so I've been utilizing my local library.

I am starting "Sense of an Ending" today, and then I'll be turning to the books I haven't read on my shelves. I am obsessed with reading.

I'm actually going to start a book review blog. I only have one post right now. Haha.
