I havent actually got a coffee table, I am not allowed one as aparently it will be just another place for me to accumulate more junk :)

I do love a good coffee table book though, i am currently browsing the pages of Taschens 100 Interiors around the World that Dan brought me for Christmas.. such a good book..... What about you guys? Any recommendations?

I probably shouldn't be "allowed" either...I can't resist coffee table books OR the clutter that accumulates along with them atop the table!

Girl, demand a coffee table if you have room for one. Of course you will pile stuff up there but just let it be neat stuff that makes you happy...like books, candles rocks, pieces of art...coffee? Ha! Love your blog.XO

I have a few more than I need .. I mean, really, how big can a coffee table be to hold all those pretty things ??
I have some frog candlestick holders we bought in Paris and a couple of giant books .. I have a few giant books so they all take turns so everyone gets the same attention. Otherwise, well you know how sulky an ignored book can get.
At the moment ..a huge giant fat book titled PICASSO .. pages and pages of art.

Any of the Linda McCartney photo books are great for the coffee table! I also really love books of art prints, anyone from Alex Grey to Rene Magritte...

I LOVE Be Here Now, I have it on my table too! One book everyone always notices is 'The Secret Art of Dr Seuss'. I collect vintage Playboy mags and keep them in an antique wooden rack, they are quite the convo piece! The covers are surprisingly beautiful/femme (fairly priced finds on eBay, the 60s and 70s issues are my fav.)
