Amsterdam: Bar Botanique Cafe Tropique
I just adore this beautiful 1930's esque cafe, completed last year in Amsterdam. The colours and lighting used in the interior kinda remind me of something from a Wes Anderson film. It just looks like the perfect place to sip a Gin and Tonic and people watch. I will definitely be visiting Bar Boutique Cafe Tropique when I return to Amsterdam!
"Plants have a strong presence in the interior. Palm trees, philodendron, ferns and monsteras create an ever changing interior. Highlighted with lamps, the plants create dramatic effects on the ceiling and walls, as the sun goes down the shadows become more present and the bar life begins."
