I am more than just a little bit in love with the Sinnerlig pendant lamp from Ikea, and it seems I am not alone. I have seen the rattan pendant lamp pop up in a fair few interiors over the last year and I am tempted to get one for my hallway.

The simple rattan design is a great modern take on a 60's favourite and I am all in favour of encouraging the return of Rattan...

What do you guys think?

Over the last year Alex has already had 3 beds... the Moses Basket, my bed and now currently a cot. He is however a massive baby, towering over toddlers twice his age and his lovely cot is quickly becoming less roomy than it was.

So i am on the search for a toddler bed. Like all our other furniture i want it to be second hand so I have been scanning eBay, Etsy and Gum Tree (the UK's CraigsList) to find a beautiful bed for my little man....

Currently topping the list is one of these beautiful rattan beds, they come in a range of sizes and would be perfect...... such a shame they are so hard to come across at a decent price

A Reclining Peacock Chair!!!

As you may have gathered by my peacock Chair obsession, I do have a bit of a thing for Rattan/Wicker furniture, and recently it has seen a massive surge in popularity. The main benefit being that people are seling and showing off their beautiful vintage pieces.... which means more eye candy on Pinterest and Ebay!!

I was personally blown away by Vanessa's double peacock chair (as seen here), but a reclining peacock chair.... wow!!

I got a Papasan chair for my 21st birthday and it has followed me from home to home, never quite fitting  in, but how ever many times I have been tempted, and asked by Dan, to get rid of it, but I just cant. It was the first piece of furniture I ever owned and the first grown up birthday present I received. With the news that I am expecting a baby Moon and have a nursery to decorate I have yet again contemplated getting rid of my Rattan beauty but....

....I have just read makes a great nursing chair!! Looks like yet again my Papasan is saved... Hurrah!!
