Reflection...

Reflection: Serious trouser envy: Janis bells from the marvellous Novella Royale

Reflection: Incorporating two of my favourite Aussie lables. Kerrie from Gypsy River in her Spell Leggings
Ultimate reflection aid: Herbal tea :)

I have been a bit absent from here recently. September has been a month of roller coaster emotions.

One of my friends lost his battle with bi-polar and sadly took his own life which, has been absolutely heart breaking for me and all my friends :(

I also got myself my dream job as a nurse in the Emergency Department which I really excited about.... but also extremely nervous

As a result September left my brain and body feeling exhausted and desperately in need of some time out to reflect upon life's tragic lows and happy highs and prepare myself for what I want to achieve in my future.

So I just wanted to say a big thank you to all Moon to Moons followers and sponsors for your words, emails and silent visits, you guys really keep me motivated and inspired so I apologise for my absenteeism but now, Moon to Moon is back. To stay :)

Walk gently into the new month.

Having acknowledged your exhaustion and grief, let its occurrence instruct you and make you wiser for the days ahead.

I am SO sorry about your friend. This is very very sad and tragic.

Congratulations on your ER job. I too am a nurse here in Kansas. Don't think I am ER material anymore, but early in my career the more excitement, the better.

I wish you a lot of luck and success.

Gabi,

Reflection is truly good.

Sorry for the loss of your friend. Having worked extensively for years with people with disabilities, including Bipolar Disorder, I understand how draining it can be both physically and emotionally. Of course, I always tried to stay focused on the positives and the successes as I'm sure you have too. Remember those times when you remember your friend.

Congrats on your new position. Hope it is everything you want it to be.

Your blog is brilliant. Been reading it for some time now and count myself lucky to have found it. Take care, friend.

Evening Gabi from Australia,

I too am sorry to here of your loss ~ the passing of a loved one regardless of the reason is never easy. Allow yourself to move through the phases of grief & be kind to yourself :-D

Congratulations of your new position in the emergency department ~ one thing I can say for sure is that you won't ever be bored!!! I currently work in intensive care but have spent time in ED on a casual basis ~ remember to protect your energy as you would with any nursing.
BTW always love the blog updates ~ sometimes I just want to dive into some of the pictures. Blessed Be xox
