Relaxation and Recovery

I have had a bit of a rough month. An operation followed by looking after a teething baby and then falling ill myself, and one thing people don't tell you about having children is that you really dont have time to be ill, or recuperate.

I am slowly getting back on my feet but still feeling a little weak and still falling asleep just after I put Alex to bed, so my blog is taking a tiny bit of a back seat....

So I thought I would check in and say hi, and share one of my favorite sitting rooms with you. I cant put my finger on exactly what I love about it, maybe it is just that it looks so relaxing, so simple and so natural!

To view the whole house your visit Design Sponge here

I hope you have all had a super easter....

Hope you are feeling better! I love how the plants are peeking in from outside! Also we had a low little table like this to draw on as kids, just the right height for us to kneel or use little kid chairs!

Sorry to hear about your rough patch. How sweet that you took time to pass on these photos. Restorative, somehow....the courtyard. A hint of nature. Natural light. An invitation to breathe deeply and just "be".....

Get well and strong again, don't try and rush your recovery.
Sending kind wishes x

I love this room's friendly energy.

It can be tough to be a mom while not feeling well yourself, you just can't take some time off!
So I am sending you some healing vibes, and hope you feel better soon.
