As long time readers may know I am not a fan of the polished show home look. I have been concentrating on essays a lot recently and been neglecting my blog, and my house. My scruffy looking home had turned into a dump. Thank goodness for the spring clean. 7 bags of rubbish later and my home is my home again, and my bedroom my own messy lived in temple of calm. Yea!!!!

I like the 2nd and the 5th .. If they are going to be messy/scruffy .. for me they need to be light .. white rooms carry scruffy better in my opinion :)
Your blog has been the main influence on my plans for this winter ( it is the beginning of fall here) .. I am looking at Indian fabrics, pillow cases etc for the living room and maybe some sort of sari fabric for windows ..
besitos .. I too love a newly cleaned out home :)
I know I've posted this comment before but I just love stopping by your blog for a weekly glimpse of your world view. I always love going through all the great pictures of cool authentic spaces!
I don't think I've ever commented but this is definitely one of my favorite blogs. Like you, I love mismatched, scruffy rooms. Hm, my room might be a little *too* scruffy right now, though. :D Yay for calm!
love it! :)
ooh, Do you dare to show a little corner of your own room?? Gorgeous comfy rooms. I love the one with the calico kitty.
I, too, am not a fan of the polished show home look...however...order is always necessary for me. I get overwhelmed with too much clutter.\\
