Hammock love from Hamanica ...

Bohemian hammock galore My personal favourite, green and blue macramé hammock

Stunning white macramé hammock

Awesome bohemian rainbow  macrame hammock
black hand woven macrame, crotchet hammock
How amazing are these macrame Hammocks from etsy store Hamanica? I just love the top one (which I had posted before but not known the source).  They are hand woven, made from natural cotton and come in a variety of shades and patterns, you can even get little ones for babies!!!

With the sun finally coming out to play I am pretty darn tempted... especially as they are for some reason so cheap?!?

Chilled out, lazy, bohemian interiors ....

Beautiful bohemian dining room table - Flickr

Chilled out, scruffy bohemian bedroom
I love incense, couldn't live without my nag champra.

a dirty tea cup or two...
Light. Beautiful chilled out bohemian bedroom interior
I have just started a new job on a really really busy ward. After 5 months of looking after lovely old ladies who were waiting to be discharged home, looking after detoxing alcoholics with serious liver problems is to say the least a challenge. I can see I am going to love this speciality, but 4 days in I am craving a lazy chilled out sping morning, in my p.j's listening to music, with some tea and toast and the smell of nag champra wafting around my house.

Luckily I have the weekend off to do just that.... yippy!

Hope you are all having a chilled week

Those in glass houses ....

Bathroom in a wooden conservatory
One of my all time favourites , originally uploaded by Earthage(?)
Bohemian conservatory interior
Beautiful, light and airy conservatory style living
Houseboat, wooden floating home
Just wow! - Glass and steel framed living room
Conservatory/ sitting room (A reblog, sorry)

When I was younger my friend Charlotte's parents house had a kitchen extension that was kind of like the first picture. I was so in love with the light airy-ness(?) of that room and have always thought that eventually this is what I would like to aim for in my own home. So now we may potentially be buying our rented house off the landlord maybe just maybe I can get my dream.

Above the bed

Stunning enclosed bed with Indian patchwork throws
Large Rattan circle as an over the bed feature
Thai teak wall carving as a bed head
buddha and catcher

Rattan bed
I have just got back from a few days in Snowdonia and lying on my bed with my book (PopCo by Scarlett Thomas) and cup of tea have looked up above my bed at my Spell Dream catcher and been inspired to make this post. I love that bottom orange one, I am sure that is just a pretty place mat but it looks so pretty.

Eclectic Sitting Rooms....

Eclectic sitting/ living room interior
Sitting room by Photographer David Prince
Library Sitting/ living Room with Moroccan pouffes and Persian rug, Via maison Boheme
Eclectic Moroccan style sitting Room with Kilim cushions and throws
Opulent and eclectic. Probably as close to my dream home as I think I have seen, but not enough books
I love the eclectic shabby-ness of these living / sitting rooms, perfect for lounging around with a good book.

I am a real hoarder. As long as I remember my parents have been big collectors, getting obsessed with a particular type of pottery or glassware and searching antiques shops for that next exiting find (I used to love going to weekend antique fairs, my sister and I would look at the pretty vintage jewellery pretending which pieces we were going to buy).

Unlike my parents I never buy anything of worth or value, but I am such a magpie for anything un-British looking. My dream home is a dusty, eclectic treasure chest of rare findings from all over the world that I would have found in an Indiana Jones/ Victorian explorer type way :)

Sadly my boyfriend is more of a minimalist  type of dude.
