A Dreamy Californian Home

 

I stumbled upon this dreamy Californian home on Instagram about a week ago and although it is a bit show home perfect in these pictures there is no denying it really is a well put together stunner!!

The home is designed by Architect Fred Blacksmith and is owned by Photographer and teacher Laura Olden who lives here in Escondido, California with her dog Novo.

I have been drooling over the house of Bonnie (Zoe Kravitz) and Nathan in Big Little Lies for a while now and so thought it was about time I put them all together in one post. I love that open plan relxed Californian Look in the sitting room and that beautiful wooden kitchen .... dreamy!!

If like me you have found yourself wondering what is upstairs, the same property was also used as a film set for 'Beautiful Boy', so below I have included some pictures from that set so you can have a peak at the upstairs.

The hand made home of.... Chris Martin

How stunning is this fairytale cabin that I found over at Inhabitat? The handmade home in Bloomington Indiana is surrounded by woodland and has been built by and lived in by Chris Martin and his family since the 1980's when he decided to build a home that would reflect his families values and needs. The home has been a labour of love and it totally shows doesnt it?

I could see myself here... with a herb garden and a pack of dogs, i would be extremely happy.
