On the approach to Christmas the what would you like question is one that always stumps me. Well this year I know exactly what I want, I want this book, Woodstock handmade houses or I want one of the houses, either would be good.

I LOVE these homes!!! They are so natural looking...I built a Pole house in Northeastern Maine many years ago and I miss it terribly...I felt closer to nature in that home...Big mistake selling it...

I got this book a few months ago and absolutely love it! All the places are so amazing.
I would definitely want one of the houses! I'd prefer to live inside them than look them on a book! :)))

I'm blessed to live just a stone's throw from Woodstock - and to have dear friends who live in a "Woodstock Handmade House". It's always a joy to visit them.

To live in a space that accepts the natural process of life and death in daily existance - without having to take a "vacation" to do so, is my idea of living! Sweep those leaves in! Great post. Peace.

Coop designs do not have to be incredibly difficult, but you do not want to make them too easy either.

So glad everyone feel s the same. Sadly in the Uk these houses wouldn't really be practical as it gets so cold and wet. Although i am sure there must be a way around it xx
Yeah, this book is pretty great. I bought it several years ago from salebooks.com, a US site. I'm not sure if they stock it anymore.
They have the book at barnesandnoble.com, paperback, about $30.
